One of our family traditions every December is to attend the Act Theatre's production of The Christmas Carol. The Campbell family has adopted the tradition along with us. We left the littles one home and made it a date night for Dale and Drew. We ended up running a smidge behind and didn't have time to eat before the play so lucky for us a shmorgus-board of delightful treats was there for the gobbling! The kids were in HEAVEN...dessert before dinner!! What child would't love that?! Needless to say, they were a little wound up. Part 2 of "lucky for us" was we had an hour to let the sugar run through our system and then relax and sit for a spell. The play was wonderful as expected and after the show we did end up having dinner at one of our favirote Seattle restaurants, The Rock Bottom. Kaisa fell asleep on Kristie's lap and the boys were all begging to go home! I think we ended up closing down the joint...It was a very quiet ride home that evening :).
