Last tuesday was Dale's anual Blue and Gold Banquet for the cub scouts. This year was a bit more special since we were celebrating the 100th birthday of scouting!! Hurray....It was a good time just the same. After a yummy dinner the boys received the awards they had earned recently. All the boys have been earning "scout bucks" the past few months in anticipation for this event. With the bucks they were able to bid on cakes made and decorated by the other scouts. Dale threw all his bucks in and won his friend Adan's cake. Both boys were excited about the prize!! Laura and Sarah Nielson found the festivities to be a bit over their heads and way too much about boys so they entertained each other in the back of the gym. I'm sure this will be the scene from here on out with those two :).
